Ruth and Caleb's Snowy Airplane Hangar Wedding in Peachtree City, GA.

When the forecast for Ruth and Caleb's big day said windy and freezing cold with snowstorms, I was worried. Ruth had planned on lots of pictures being taken outside with the planes, and the big send-off was supposed to be the couple taking off in an old propeller plane, which was not going to happen if the weather didn't cooperate! I arrived on the snowy scene to find Ruth with a huge smile on her face. She said, "we hardly ever get snow down in Georgia, I'm so excited!" That set the tone for the day.

Caleb is a flight attendant with Delta Airlines, and his Southern Gentleman customer service skills really can't be beat. He and Ruth take advantage of Caleb's flight benefits every chance they get and have had adventures together all over the world. The Commemorative Air Force Dixie Wing Hangar in Peachtree City, GA was the perfect place to host their wedding.

Some of my favorite things about the day include: Ruth's lovely vintage-style wedding dress; a fun and helpful bridal party; Ruth and Caleb's happiness at just being together throughout the whole day, despite having to run around in freezing cold snow to get pictures; and of course, the send-off in a propeller plane! The sun came out just in time, and they were able to take off like the adventurers they are.

Here are some of my favorite images from the day. Enjoy!
