The Deavers

When Cameron and I first got married, we hadn't found a place to live yet. All of our stuff was crammed into boxes in the garage of Cam's parents' place, and the search began. It didn't take us long at all to find Tommy and Holly! They owned an apt in the same complex as our good friends Logan and Natasha, and it immediately felt like home to me.

Tommy and Holly have been the best landlords. We were so lucky to get to play with Little Tommy in the nursery at church every Sunday, and he and Cameron have become good pals. We've also gotten to see Baby Dawson grow from a newborn to a happy, excited little boy. We're thankful for all the Deavers have done for us, and I'm grateful that I was able to do this shoot for them. Love you guys!

I'm so grateful that I got this shot to remember our nursery days! Tommy used to cry and cry every time his parents left, but Cameron worked his magic and got Tommy to love coming in.

And Uncle Taylor (Tay Tay to the boys) was our hero, helping us get the boys to look at the camera and smile. We couldn't have done it without him!

The Winwards

I love this family! Emery was my boss at the Provo CafĂ© Zupas, and also the best boss I've ever had. I mean, you should see him at Hip Hop class every Thursday... The Winwards always do a Halloween costume together as a family. Last year was a Batman theme.

And this year.. Frozen! Jenny made the Anna and Kristoff costumes herself. We took a mini road trip to the Bonneville Salt Flats and had a blast. I especially love little Cam as Olaf the Snowman. So much fun. I hope this becomes a yearly tradition no matter where we end up!

Kristen and Dan

I met Kristen when I started working at the Provo Cafe Zupas. She works so hard, but she also has an excellent sense of humor. When I met Dan at our first engagement session, it was so fun to see the way they interact with each other. Their love is playful and genuine. It was pouring rain, but they didn't let that spoil their day. I loved working with this couple from start to finish!

I love these first look shots! We had plenty of time to get some great shots of Kristen and Dan together before their actual wedding day. I love when couples do bridals together because they get to enjoy some time alone together without worrying about time constraints or getting back to a reception. Plus, it's great practice for hair and make-up for the bride! Kristen looked so lovely.

Kristen and Dan were sealed on August 15 in the Oquirrh Mountain LDS Temple.

Then onto the cutest backyard reception! A lot of DIY decorations and delicious treats.

I've never seen a baby raise an eyebrow and flirt with the camera like this!
