Rylie and Cody's Oakland Temple Wedding- March 2015

My husband Cameron and I will be moving to the great state of Ohio this weekend! Cam will be getting a law degree with a Masters of Health Administration at THE Ohio State University, and we can't wait to explore Columbus and be closer to my family in West Virginia. I thought I'd celebrate by sharing the wedding of one of my favorite people from Ohio: Rylie (Hollingsworth) Nore! Rylie and Cody are an incredible couple and also some of my favorite people. You can see their darling Christmas tree proposal here: http://alexwrightphotography.blogspot.com/2014/12/rylie-and-codys-christmas-proposal.html and their winter engagement session here: http://alexwrightphotography.blogspot.com/2015/02/rylie-and-codys-winter-engagement.html

Rylie and Cody flew me out for a weekend in Oakland/Oroville, CA. I had the pleasure of hanging with Cody's sisters and parents and eating some DELICIOUS Shakey's pizza with them before the big day. Some of my favorite moments of the wedding include Cody's first look at Rylie in her beautiful lacy dress, Cody's dad's toast when he said that Cody partly fell in love with Rylie because she resembles Cody's first love (the Pink Power Ranger), watching Alan Tippets make the wedding cake like a BOSS, and of course when everybody on the dance floor went nuts to "Turn Down For What."

I wish you the best, Mr. and Mrs. Nore!

Elyse and Jake: Huntington Engagement Session

My word, where do I begin? I met this fiery redhead in the 6th grade, and I was lovingly accepted into her friendship with Whitney Crum. We've now been best friends for 12 years and have dubbed ourselves "The Sisterhood." I can't really put into words how it feels to have such a deep connection with these wonderful girls. We all live in different states now, but while it seems like our problems and triumphs have become about more "grown-up" things, I often feel like we're still three middle school girls- laughing and crying and being emotionally unreasonable and learning from our mistakes. Together. I love them.

Enter Jake Fernandez. He met Elyse while they worked at CVS Pharmacy, and if Whit and I didn't love him enough already after he paid for our meals at Dwight's Diner the night we met him... we fell even harder when he asked us to be a part of the proposal. Elyse had been expecting a proposal on her birthday, and wasn't too happy when it didn't happen.. Little did she know that Jake had arranged for Whit and me to fly in and hide while Jake proposed in Fayetteville on Bridge Day. It will always be one of my happiest memories. Elyse and Jake will be married in September, and I just want her to know how beautiful, strong, and caring she is. I love you, Lysie!
